If you are a newcomer to chess, and wish to learn the basic nuances of the game while failing in love with it - this is the course for you. It covers from very basic to enough know-how to go out and start playing in entry-level tournaments. Broadly, this is a must-have for every person who wants to start his chess journey.
On completing the foundation course, or for those with prior basic knowledge of chess, this module shall take one to a level where can start upgrading the chess skills for professional tournaments in age categories. Complex things like using scoresheets, chess clocks, advanced terminology, FIDE rules, etc. shall be covered in addition to plethora of practice and studies.
FIDE RATING? Oh yes, this is the step where one gears up to get a rating with World Chess Federation or FIDE. The students at this level are also exposed to IMs, GMs and many chess experts through camps and similar opportunities. Ideally, one gets ample content and guidance to achieve 1000-1400 FIDE rating points in this program. More than 2000 positions are taught in this module.
This course is best suited for those with a FIDE rating of 1400 and higher. As the name suggests, the course is an advanced version of our offerings and covers more than 3000 dynamic playing positions as part of the curriculum. This aims at taking one's rating to around 1800 FIDE rating points. Players who have played in minimum 10 FIDE rated events are also eligible for this module. GMs, IMs, and senior trainers are vital part of this module. Player can expect results and increased performances in higher level of tournaments with exposure to some of the senior most trainers in chess world.
